Target + Remezcla

- MEDIA INNOVATION

- BRANDED CONTENT

- EXPERIENTIAL

Target aimed to bolster its support for Latine-owned brands through our publication as a media platform. Our approach involved advising Target to step back from the spotlight and allocate those media spaces to its nascent brands. This provided small businesses with a unique chance to work with an award-winning content team for the first time. We actively supported and funded marketing content for the growth and cultural amplification of these Latine-owned brands available at Target.

JZD Sentimental Pero Chingona

Bringing the apparel brand’s goal of empowering Latina queens to life, we produced a short film featuring a poem by Mexican poet Vianney Harrelly. Harrelly uses her own words along with JZD’s product phrases to celebrate the realness of Latine culture and answer complex questions about what it’s like to be Latine.

24/7 by Luna Magic

Inspired by the brand name (Magic of the Moon), we created a photo lookbook and a tribute to the Latina women who keep NYC running 24/7, showcasing the beauty of nightlife that extends beyond bars, clubs, and parties.

Hairstories by Rizos Curls

"Hairstories" is a homage to Latina beauty salon culture and history through a pop-up exhibition. We transformed a gallery space into a salon experience, showcasing artwork and pieces from local artists with a strong presence in their communities.

Lil’ Bibliotecas by Lil’ Libros

When the Benjamin Franklin branch library in Boyle Heights shut down for major repairs and renovations, local Latine families in that neighborhood were in need of reading materials for their children. So we created Lil’ Bibliotecas, a series of five community mini-libraries stocked with bilingual books from the Lil’ Libros book series.
